Templates: how to them & a few uses

A number of our customers are not retail garden centers nor growers who sell to them (though a great many are).  Hardscape suppliers are a typical example, landscapers who want to label stock with a simple BIG NAME on a label to help assure that the right plants get on the right truck and into the right hole at the jobsite are another.  There are many uses for our label products (even a bicycle store) that are not necessarily plant related.  Most of these customers use the templates that we provide – at no charge – to do the job.

We have FREE templates available for use with Microsoft Word, (also works with Open Office and possibly other word processors) Microsoft Publisher, Serif Page Plus, and Label Factory DeLuxe.

We have found that many of our retail garden center customers are not aware of the uses of labels made using templates.  Here is an example of the Bar Code Patch – 2.75 x 1.25” adhesive label printed by the Gardenware program, a couple of samples printed with MS Word, using templates and one with a publishing program.

As you can see, all of our label and sign materials may be printed in multiple ways for multiple uses.

I have put together two videos that demonstrate the use of the MS Word templates.  It is very easy to do and hopefully you can see additional uses for our label materials.  Click HERE for the video on single column templates and HERE for the video on multiple column templates.  We’ll be glad to send you a complete set of MS Word Templates  or others, as available, – absolutely FREE.  Just give us a call  503-717-9295 or send an e-mail note to info@gardenware.com .  We’ll send your templates right away.
